Hot Air Balloon Ride
So, we've waited 2+ years for this and it finally happened. I got
tickets as a bday present for the fiance and have schedules various
times but it's always been canceled for some reason or other. We drove
out twice and it was canceled last minute(which wasn't great since we're
at least 1.5hrs away, depending on where they lift off). But, yesterday
was it.
It was a lot hotter than i expected(due to the flames) yet it was awesome. We ended up landing on private property at some kind of horse ranch. The owner was pissed and wouldn't let the others in(to retrive the basket via truck). So we ended up hauling everything to the next farm where the others were waiting. That basket is like, 600lbs...the balloon alone was 400 yet it was doable with 8 people. In the end no one was arrested and everyone got out safely(lol).

8-Bit Sonic Reversible Pillow!
This takes you back, doesn’t it? Back to the days of the sega-genesis. I was always a Nintendo girl, but, Sonic was always all right. This one however is made via Tunisian crochet with the simple(aka afghan) stitch.
He’s available at my shop here(amongst others). Custom orders are always welcome ;).

Dracula Bunny!!!
I very recently made this for a challenge, isn’t he cute? The pattern is available at my shop here. The item itself will be on sale at the Mom’s Basement’s Shop(here), all tho i don’t think they have him posted up yet(so keep checking!). In the spirit of October; the costume here is removable and the bat is a pin you can use elsewhere(if you wish). FYI all revenue from that shop is going to the 'Child's Play' charity...so it's an awesome cause!!Yay! :D

Legend of Zelda: Magic Beans
I made this pin(yes, it's a pin!) a while ago for a challenge at a craft group. Obviously i'm a huge zelda fan ;).
This guy(below) is who you got them from. I kind'a liked him, except for the fact that he would increase the price every time you bought one.
This is how it started out, 4 mini yarn balls(lol). I then crocheted the pea-pod and sewed them in place.
Do you remember these? In Ocarina of Time the soft soil spots(where these can be planted) only
appear during Link’s child era. After seven years(Link’s adult phase),
they will turn into platforms which will grant Link access to certain
areas otherwise impossible to reach. They also make an appearance in
Majora’s Mask. They really take me back...

Legend of Zelda Cow - Amigurumi
Custom Order Complete!!
The first cow i made was as a project for Nerd Wars(ravelry team) a couple of months ago. Since then it's been one of my favorite amigurumis. Recently i got a custom order for one, and here she is! She'll be mailing out on Monday ;).
She's inspired by the Legend of Zelda game series(specially Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask). Would a step-by-step slide show be a plus?
If you're familiar with Ravelry.com don't be shy and feel free to friend me(malonb)!! And don't forget to visit my shop here.
